Alright. I leave for Japan in five days. FIVE! Count em... Un, deux, trois, quatre, CINQ!! Honestly, I should be heading to France. It only makes sense since I've been studying the damn language for five years. Hahaa, NOT! My dream is coming true! Japan here I come. Are you ready for me? More like, am I ready for you? I hasn't really hit me yet...meh sometimes it does. Like when I'm driving on the freeway and I become lost in my thoughts, then all of sudden I start smiling from ear to ear and squeal like a little girl. At this point, though it feels like that cliche saying- so close, yet so far. That's how I really feel at this point. 3 months turned into five days like ice cream in a Palm Desert summer. I'm so nervous though. I really slacked off with learning some Japanese. I mean I learned some phrases, I know Hiragana (sort of), Katakana (half way through), kanji (forget it). So when I step off that plane I'm going to be illiterate. That will an interesting feeling.

I'm in the process of packing. I'm bringing my huge pink duffle bag. Dear mummy offered me the Louis Vutton...I said no. I couldn't possibly. Oh listen to me! Such a snob. Anyway, dear Talula fits my travel personality. Easy to find, kinda beat up, and fits so much stuff and still stays below the weight restriction. So I stuffed Talula with my clothes and shoes. Another suitcase, will hold my etc stuff. I had to really stop myself with the clothes. I want to be stylish, but there's a limit to how much I can bring of course. Anyway, I digress! So, I'm almost finished with the packing. I have to do some last minute things like making copies of stuff and writing down info for my parents.

I got my housing. I didn't get my first choice which was to live with a family. I'm in the all women's dorm. I have my own private bathroom and there's a kitchen. Lovely! The best part... I heard I'm close to Disneyland. HAHAHAHHHAH! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

Ah...well. That's the 5 day update. I'm tired right now, so I shall end this post with an I'm so excited to go to Tokyo and meet some new people. I've already met some pretty cool people though the great world of facebook. Can't wait to meet them all in person. The list of what I want to while there is almost complete, but gets longer every time I look in the guide book from Borders.

And with that a ja mata to all of youuuu!
